I have applied for HSMP, but no reference number . If i need to speed up the process , what is my next move and how fast my papers go through . I work for an agency and now i have an opporunity to get into British Telecom contract , due to my visa status .The job offer would turn on me. What documents should be sent across HSMP team to speed up .

Plz can anyone help me

After six weeks you can send a copy of the job offer, call the HSMP team and get the case number, add that number to the request....

You need to obtain your reference number first. See the FAQ to find out all the information you need to provide.

Your application can be treated urgently, if you have submitted your application atleast 6 weeks ago. If that is the case, fax them your offer letter. Also attach a covering letter and mention your reference number in that.

Hopefully your application should be dealth within 2-3 weeks. After recieving your approval, you cannot straight away start working for your new employers until your FLR(IED) has been processed i.e your passport has been stamped and returned to you, unless your current visa permits you to workm for any employer. FLR(ied) these days takes another 10-12 weeks these days.

Good luck!
