Marrriage Italian VISA

Hello

I am Portuguese, (EU citizen), but i am resident in Italy.
I work in Italy in a long term contract and I am married with one American citizen, marriage made in USA.

I would like to know how to proceed to register our marriage in Italy, and obtain the VISA and residence to my wife for the time I will be here in Italy.

Can someone help me on this issue?
