Tier 1 Entrepreneur ILR

Hi, I received my Tier 1 entrepreneur visa extension on 26th August 2016 and I intend to apply for ILR in August 2018. I entered the Tier 1 entrepreneur route on 15th July 2013. Since my entry was before April 2014 I qualified for employing one person for two years for the extension application. However, I am not sure if I can employ the same person for two years for ILR or I need to employ two different people for 12 months each?

Who said you need to employ the same person for 24 months ?? You simply need to create 24 months of full time employment. That is all. Anyone can be employed to do the job. It can be one person for 24 months or it can be 12 people each for 2 months

I was not sure whether I still qualify for the rules applicable before April 2014 (i.e. employing one person for two years). Post April 2014, we are expected to employ people for two different positions for 12 months each, but pre April 2014 we could employ one person for 24 months.

As far as I know the pre_April arrangments are applicable after extension to ILR
