Passport photo copy for spouse visa

Post by intsum » Fri Sep 09, 2016 7:49 am

Hi All,

I am living in the UK with ILE visa for over 7 years.
Now I have 2 passports since my old one expired on June,2016.
My ILE visa is on the Old expired passport.

Now my wife back in my country is applying for Spouse Visa and for that I need to send photocopy of my passport and Visa.

About 3 months ago on July, 2016 I applied for NTL and so both my passport is handed over with NTL application. I did my BRP and I recently got email from 'UK visas and application' stating that it could take up to 6 months to process my NTL. I didn't think the NTL application process would take that long.

Do I have to wait for the NTL and send its photocopy or is the photocopies of both my Old and new passports and the visa accepted for the Spouse Visa application.

Thanks

Copy is fine though colour copy or attested copy is prefered. There is no requirement of sending the original passport and permanent residence card of sponsor

I personally sent colour copy of passport and PR card. They have got all record with them so i dont think you will have an issue if send non certified good quality readable copy

I request both my passport back from NTL application and sent colour photo copies along with all the visa stamp pages without being certified.
The spouse visa appliction has been finally submitted and now waiting for the results, will update the outcome.
Thanks
