Res card enquiries

Post by Noble7 » Sat Sep 10, 2016 7:55 pm

Hi,

II am a Non eu national and in my case I have applied for a UK residence card (I think its not PR) in April, 2015 it was rejected in September, 2015 because my wife(Cypriot) was not having comprehensive insurance to cover her EHIC card . They did not gave me right to work . She entered UK in september, 2014 and her EHIC card expired in November and we got married in January, 2015 and filed an application as stated in April, 2015. So she did not had comprehensive health insurance from November, 2015 until May, 2016( we took aviva health insurance in may,2016) and I was given right to appeal. My hearing date was 11 July, 2016 and the HOPO has withdrawn their decision.

I was told by HOPO that home office would announce their decision within 6 weeks and now its tenth week? I think they are just taking their time so that I shall get discourage and go home as its been nearly one and half year.

Any advice is very very appreciated and valued.

How is your spouse/sponsor exercising treaty rights nowadays?
All that is gold does not glitter; Not all those who wander are lost. E&OE.
