do i need to renew t-2 sponsorship license

Hi, i am in tier-2 for last 4 years 2nd term, i have my first visa for 3 years then i extend for another 2 years. my visa will expire in 2018 when i would eligible to apply for ILR. now my companies sponsorship license which was issued for 4 years i think is now due to expire. my company dont have any other staff to sponsor except me and i been given sponsorship already. so does my comapny need to keep their licese as i am still in tier-2 but they dont need to issue cos any more to me. if they dont renew their license does that effect my stay under tier-2 within the same company as well as will it effect on applyting for IRL within the same company same job.

Yes they need to renew their licence. If they don't extend their licence, your visa will be cancelled and curtailed as your sponsor would have ceased to exist.
