EEA2 residence card when unmarried, now getting married

Post by mia777 » Tue Sep 13, 2016 11:20 am

Hello. I obtained a a residence card after applying using an EEA2 application. I applied as an unmarried partner and we are now engaged to be married.

Do I need to report any change in circumstances to the Home Office when this eventually happens?

Thanks!

Congratulations.

No need to report.
But with all this wild talk of Brexit it may be prudent to secure a RC as EEA(FM) to complement your current RC.

And keep your EEA(EFM) RC safe; you will need that if applying for confirmation of PR and including your time as an unmarried partner.
All that is gold does not glitter; Not all those who wander are lost. E&OE.
