The company I currently work For say A operating in UK and B operating in UK are going for a merger to form a new company A&B Ltd. Both companies have employees sponsored between them .
Both Brand names would still be available but the existing companies might be dissolved and one A&B group maintained .
In this case would the new company need to apply for licence ?
Would the same need to be conveyed via SMS by both existing companies to transfer the existing licences to new ?
Can the companies inform and retain the licences claiming they want to have individual licences though they operate under a new name ??
I have gone through the Guidance and the flowcharts , but couldn't find anything concrete for merger of equals/consolidation.
