surrender of Indian passport

Post by rbsjp » Fri Sep 16, 2016 9:42 pm

I have an appointment to Surrender Indian passport at VFS office London next week. Where would be a good place to get the photos made?

Most photo booth machines can make Indian specification photos (2" x 2" or 50x50mm). Alternatively find a photo processing shop - e.g. Boots, Snappy Snaps, or a local photographer and they'll take the photo for you. Note that most machines and shops charge more for the Indian specification photos.

If you are good with a camera / image manipulation software, you can take photos with your own camera and crop them to the specifications on your own computer using Photoshop / Paint.NET (the latter is free). This option is not for everyone but often results in better looking photos than ones from machines, and much cheaper too.
