shortfall in first month and average difference in wage.

Post by israr96 » Mon Sep 19, 2016 9:30 pm

Hi
I i recently applied for a job at Vodafone and have recieved a job offer and have accepted the job, however the job only offers £17500 basic annual pay. I am able to earn an extra 1500 in bonus/comission however I do not think that overtime is available.
During mu first 6 weeks I will be doing training, during this period it is unlikely that I will be able to get commission or overtime, this will mean that I will be shortfalling the monthly amount of £1550 by £91.66 for the first and second month, however it may be possible to do enough overtime to make up for the amount shortfalled in the months afterwards for example by doing overtime I could earn £1650 per month there after (essentially).

I am confused on wether my first two months will affect my application if I apply under Section A (6 Wage slips)
If I am earning less in one month and more in the other will my lowest amount be taken or will an average be taken?
Will I have to find a part time job to cover the first two months of shortfall and continue it for 6 months?
Any advice greatly appreciated.
