visiting the wife /no objection certificate ?

i was looking to book a hotel in pakistan a found the Pearl Continental in Muzaffarabad, under important information All foreign guests need NOC No Objection Certificate from Ministry of Interior Islamabad. Please make arrangements before travel ?

lol what the hell is that, how do i get one & am i gonna get mugged off another couple of hundred quid getting one, have a nadra card if that matters at all :?:

As far as I can tell, it's a document issued by the Interior Ministry for travel in high risk areas.

Also, do you have a an ID Card for Overseas Pakistanis (dual nationality Pakistani/British) or a Pakistan Origin Card (only foreign national but with Pakistani ancestry/or naturalised with renunciation of Pakistani nationality). There might be different rules for either card holders.

Have you tried contacting your nearest Pakistan Embassy/Consulate about this?

apprently will need it if i want to go to neelam valley :evil:

"Make sure you have the necessary permissions to travel. Specific requirements can change and you should check the latest requirements before travelling. A No Objection Certificate is always required for foreign nationals to travel within 10 miles of the Line of Control or to enter Kashmir via Muzaffarabad"
