I am currently living in the UK with my 8 year old son. I am engaged to an american citizen (living in the USA) we go back and forth visiting frequently.
In the next year or so we are hoping to start the process of finally living together in the USA. Financially it makes more sense to start this next year.
I am wondering how people managed their time? I have read lots about the process but I am still trying to get my head around it so as I have some time now I am hoping to get as much info as possible.
How long on average has it taken for others to have filed and then actually moved out there to be married?
How did you plan a wedding for the time frame?
How did you pack up all of your things/pets? in the time frame?
Did you manage to get your child straight into education?
