Tier 1 extention- Find solutions of rejections.

Hello all,

Thank you very much to all of you for being informative.
My extention is due in third week of October. I have hired a solicitor and accountant for the extension.

Please may I request all of you who has got the approvals and rejections to list your reasons please.

The idea is to create a thread where one knows what are the common reasons of rejections and how we can incorporate that advice into our application and make this a smooth journey.

I would also request the senior active members and the people who got approvals to point out what they think are the common mistakes made my applicants and how we can avoid it.

My application was rejected at first, I went for admin review and HO overturned their decision.

My advice would be to only send documents that are required by the HO. Don't send extra stuff. Do not rely completely on the solicitor. Do your own research, read the guide properly. Once you are ready with your application, post the list of documents here and members can cross-check your list for you.

Almost 98% of rejections are due to applicants ignoring the rules and not sending the correct required evidence. HO requires the exact evidence in specific formats as described in the guide and the rules. Alternative evidence is NOT acceptable and you cannot haggle your way out of it.
Also relying on solicitor alone is not going to guarantee you visa. Mots solicitors seems to have quite a limited experience with the complicated rules and even worse, often provide misleading and incorrect advice. It is 100% your responsibility to read and understand the requirements and the rules.

Let me start what you are looking for.
1.unsigned accounts
2.missing directors loan agreements
3.unsigned payslips copies or FPS
4.unidentifiable loan transactions
5.missing employees start date
6.inaccurate no of hours for job creation
7.maintenance less than 90 days
8.missing filing history from companies house
9.Dierctors appointment report within last3 months.
10.Investment less than required

Now wait for this list to be added or amended.

There is a Filing history page which is mentioned in Guideline and can be obtained from Companies house website or requested I guess.

READ THE GUIDE !! It clearly says that the the money should be identifiable that came from you

You need to submit the FPS reports, showing the starting date of your employees

so how do you prove that the investment is coming from you ?

Shall i provide the personal bank statement which shows my name and my bank account details ?
Those bank account details should match with the transactions in my business bank statements?

Or the letter from accountant is sufficient, where it says that this is the investment and the bank accounts belong to me.

Business bank account is enough as long as it shows the transaction came from you (showing your name)
Accountant letter is NOT an acceptable form of evidence but it seems you have NO interest in reading the guide at all

Hi Zimba..

Apologies to bother you. I have read the policy document few times. I think I was not clear interms of putting up my question.

My business and personal banking are both with natwest and they all are linked on one dashboard.
So on my bank statement any payment/transaction from my personal account to business account says
" Call re a/c no. xxxxx ". It doesn't show my name.

If there is a payment from a third party then it shows the name. So my questions is

a) Do I need to give a bank statement of all the personal bank accounts I have showing my name and bank acc no.

b) or an accountant can confirm that bank accounts so and so belongs to... me and the money transferred from these bank accounts to business bank account is my investment.
