PBS Dependent Query

Post by Tiptop001 » Wed Sep 28, 2016 2:59 pm

Hi Gurus,

I was granted ILR on 30/08/2016,been for one day appointment on 05/04/16 but decision was differed to further checks.

Next day(06/04/16) I applied for my wife and son (Born UK) PBS visa next day when my visa decision was differed still impending.

My wife got more twenty five month to complete 5 years route since she been here, I was asked to pay £600 each IHS fee for my wife and son.

Assuming my son will get Indefinite stay eligible to British citizenship will I get his IHS refunded? And since I paid £600 for wife I believe it should had been £400?

Thanks
Tiptop

If you have your ILR, and your son was born in the UK, you can directly register his as British through MN1.

He does not need an ILR.

Regarding your wife's IHS, I think £600 would be correct, as she will be awarded another 3 years and it is £200 / year.
Cheers,

Hi

Thanks for your reply.

Well I ans my son visa was expiring at same time so I had to post his application as Tier 1 dependent, I wonder which visa HO will give? I paid £600 IHS fee for him.
My wife needs just 25 months more to complete 5 years route. I wonder how much extension time HO will give.
Was wondering if I could get IHS refund through if members have same query.

Regards
Tiptop
