Tier 2 ICT to Tier 2 General Conversion

Post by ckumar29 » Thu Sep 29, 2016 1:32 am

Hi Gurus,

Not sure if this question is already asked elsewhere, however I couldn't find.

I have come to UK on Tier 2 ICT Visa after April 2011 with the visa issued with the rules before Apr 2011. I could extend my visa in 2013 and is valid till Feb 2017. From few posts I have realised, I could get my conversion to Tier 2 General. However I have following questions

1. Would it be possible to apply for Tier 2 General Conversion while I am with current employer through a consultancy (My current employer does not sponsor for Tier 2 General)?
2. How long does it take for the entire process and what is the approx cost for the Visa.
3. Is there is any process to follow and documents required?
4. Would the Tier 2 General conversion has any impact if I am not in UK for a period of more than 6 months from April 2011 till date.
5. Can I apply for my dependents along with my application?

Thanks in advance,
Kumar

what you are proposing to do , getting the visa through a consultancy, is illegal.
