consultancy agreement - tier 1 extention-- Urgent advice

Post by robbie47 » Sat Oct 01, 2016 12:32 pm

Hello Guys..

Just need some advice. I run a finance/investments conultancy and at the moment I have 2-3 clients.
I send them invoices and they pay via bank transfer or cheque payments.

But I don't have a proper consultancy contract with them... DO you think its a good idea?
I have seen some applications getting rejected as they were contractor agreements.

If I should, may I ask you what sort of agreements I should put in place. My clients are very accomodating and they said if this helps me they are happy to put a contract in place.

The existence of business agreements depend upon on the nature of deal(s) between stakeholder.

For example some quick fix / short term services (like plumbing, crafting, wiring, networking etc) doesn't normally need have any written agreement prior to service delivery.
The idea to write & agree on terms (agreements) usually needed when predefined level of services or goods needed at desired / perceived level of quality with/without time constrains.

So its depend upon you to realise either a business agreement needed or not, if Yes, what kind!

I know there is no requirement but some people have submitted...

a) trade contracts
b) consultancy contracts.

I have got the invoices and remiitance slips from my clients.. I worked with them as a consultant but all the fee and other terms were agreed over the email. If I ask them to sign a contract back dated... they wont mind..

So just thought of asking if its going to make my case strong. I have read alot about how people have made their application spotless and have got the visa's approved in a month. So, I'm preparing my file accordingly.

You need to follow the rules not what some people do, there is NO evidence that submitting extra documents increases your chances.
You need to send what is required by the rules, remember that 99% refusals are due to failure to submit the required evidence :!:
