traveling on a UK Biometric card and pakistani passport

Post by ma777 » Sun Oct 02, 2016 8:29 pm

Hi, my uncle recently got his biometric card and wanted to travel to Italy to meet relatives as they had a baby. He hasn't received his British passport yet as he doesn't have an indefinite stay. He has his Pakistani passport however. he is in England. He was wondering whether or not he could travel from England to Italy and back with only his Pakistani passport and his UK biometric. Would he be able to leave and enter the UK again? Thanks

He'll have a problem travelling to Italy unless he has a Schengen visa. Returning to the UK shouldn't be an issue.
