Flr m first extention

Hi everyone,

I will be applying for my wife's first extension after her intial spouse visa is coming to an end soon. The question I have is regarding which financial category she needs to apply under.

I have been with same employer for ten years but my income falls just below £18,600. So I will combining with my wifes income to meet the requirement. The problem I have is my wifes employer has been taken over by a new company three months back. Everything is the same apart from the name of the employer on the playslip.

Does this count as the same employer??

So should I apply under category A or B ?? To satisfy the requirements.
