Tier 2 Dependant Baby Funds

Post by nsw » Mon Oct 03, 2016 10:51 pm

Hi
I have applied for Tier 2 Dependant for my baby from India who was born in UK but due to emergency my wife has taken her to India. Now we have applied for Tier 2 Dependant visa for baby from India. We have attached all documents asked for application (Marriage certificate, CoS, Bank statements, passports, salary slips, birth certificate, etc) but I have question regarding maintenance funds required. I have received mail from UKVI to put forth my case for minimum amount of £633 for 90 days.

I have submitted my & Wife's bank account statement but most of funds are maintained in her account.
So I have query about these maintenance funds : should these are to be maintained only be in my account OR it is acceptable to show the funds are maintained in my wife's account?

Thanks.

I think, acceptable. However, if they choose to apply the appropriate rules for babies born in the UK, then maintenance funds shouldn't be necessary.
