Can a PBS dependent work for an IoM Company?

Can a PBS dependent work for an IoM Company?

Quick question re the above.
My wife is on a Tier 2 dependent visa with unrestricted work. She has been offered a job working from home, but for a company based on the IoM.
The company has checked on the IoM side and they have been given the all clear to employ her, but they said we must check on the UK side if they will allow it. Any idea if this is permissible as we haven't been able to find any concrete answers on the .gov site.
