Passport expiry less than 6 months for Tier 2 renewal?

Hi

My passport expires around the same time as my Tier 2 visa with my employer expires. I am not able to renew the passport easily due to issues with our embassy in London. I am worried that Home Office might not accept my Passport with elss than 6 months expiry when renewing my Tier 2 General visa.

Is this going to cause a problem for me?

I'm sure there is, but I'll leave you search the Immigration Rules (which is what I'd have to do). Someone else may be able to post a link
