Need Advice - error on payslip - only 2 weeks left

Guys,.. in june i realised my accountant made a mistake on the payslip.

Lets say my employee's name is Eric Hamon...they printed it H Eric as opposed to E Hamon. I asked them to make the changes from june onwards... what should I do with the payslips from march to june ??

Did your accountant do the same mistake in the RTI submitted to HMRC.

I think so... but i think they amended on their system

Payroll software usually prints the last name first and first name afterwards and shorten it. This can be fixed in the software settings/preferences. Even if there is an error, for RTI submissions the correct NI numbers matter much more than the name. You can ask your accountant to fix the name errors and give you new payslips. New RTI submissions are usually unnecessary
