Post by advice_please » Sat Oct 08, 2016 10:43 am

Dear All

Just wanted to share my joy as my wife got a visa. :D
It was super quick too.

Here are the timelines:

09/09/2016: Applied Online
20/09/2016: Documents submitted to TLS centre for Priority Settlement. (Was promised 15 working day turnaround)
22/09/2016: Documents received by UKVI
03/10/2016: Decision made by UKVI
05/10/2016: TLS informed us that docs are ready
08/10/2016: Docs returned via courier

I wish you all quicker family reunion
If anyone has question as to what kind of docs I have prepared/submitted please leave them here.

I would like to thank the people who run this website for all the useful info and advice.

Hi Nidu19

we applied from Tashkent.
Yes Priority is worth it.

One thing to note though is to set an earlier date for planned travel to UK when you fill in the online application. We have set it to beginning of November and were given visa starting from then.

Best of luck with your application.
