FLR(M) application - is it possible?

Post by Yukun » Sun Oct 09, 2016 11:47 pm

Dear People here,

Could you please give me your valuable opinion on my FLR(M) Visa application.

I am planning to apply for FLR(M) visa in 1 week time before my visa expires on 24th October 2016. But my problem is that I am still waiting for my husband visa application (10 year ILR) approval so I might have to apply for FLR(M) visa with a covering letter explaining my situation and asking Home office to put my FLR(M) Visa application pending until my husband ILR visa has been decided.

Could you anyone tell me whether it would work? would it be too risky? or should I go back to my country and apply for visa there when my husband visa has been approved. If possible I really want to apply for visa here because my son has just started nursery and he is now beginning to enjoy it....

My husband sent his visa application by post in the end of July 2016. We tried to upgrade his application to the premium service in September but we were rejected without specific explanation.

Any advice and/or experience would be much appreciated!

Thank you!

Just one more question please, If I sent my visa application to Home office in UK would I be ok to carry on my current work? A bit confusing because Home office would put my application pending.....

Thank you.

Yes, if your leave hasn't expired or Section 3C is applicable.
