EEA PR application - job seeker

Hi all,

I have been living in the Uk for six years and therefore would like to apply for a PR.

I am a German citizen, have been employed all the six years period, except for a period of five months in between. I was changing jobs in this period and looking for new opportunities and therefore I was voluntarily unemployed and seeking new jobs.

Therefore I could not register with the job centre but I didn't take any benefits as well.

I am planning to apply for this five months period as a jobseeker. How much of evidence regarding job applications / job interviews / job rejections am I supposed to submit for this period ?
Are electronic printouts/emails ok given that all job applications currently are done electronically? - I cannot unfortunately find any concrete guidance on this topic anywhere
