To certify maintenance for Tier2 dependant

Hi all,

I am in UK with tier 2 visa. My employer is not ready to certify maintenance for my wife. She has joint account with her mother in Indian post office, where she has sufficient money as termed deposit. Can she use that to certify maintenance?

Or else, her father has sufficient money in the account from 90 days. If her father converts that account to the joint account with her, can it be used to certify maintenance for her right away?

as long as she is named person on the account, i think she should be fine.
You may need to attach a covering letter stating that you are using her statement for maintenance.

My question is that if her father converts his personal account to joint account now. Can she use it now to certify maintenance without waiting for 90 days, if that has sufficient money from 90 days. Will the joint account with parents work after marriage??

Can you please guide me it UKVI page, where they mention all these details? Do you have any format for covering letter!!!
