Dependent VISA for ILR decision waiting person

Hi,
I applied for ILR on Aug 5th in Solihull PEO and they told me that they need some extra checks so will take couple of days. My case was complicated so thought to try for me first and if successful will go for family members. Now my family members visa is expiring on Nov 6th.

So are they allowed to say till my ILR decision is done ? or do they have to leave. Can I apply for any dependent visa for them based on my ILR decision awaiting letter. Please help, not able to find any solution.
