Hi,
I am currently on Tier 2 General visa and will be eligible for ILR next month. My employer has agreed to provide me the employment reference letter in the format below. Please could some one confirm if this is enough?
**********************************************************************
<employee name> joined <company name> on <date> and currently holds the position of <title and level> (2136, as per the occupational codes of practice). <employee name>'s employment is considered to be of a permanent nature.
<employee name>'s annual gross pay amounts to <(greater than £35,000)> and this salary is above the appropriate rate for the job as given in the codes of practice for Tier 2 sponsors. His services as a <title> is still required and he will continue to remain employed with us in the foreseeable future.
*****************************************************************************
Also, as per the guidelines it is not necessary to provide a letter for annual holidays. Please could you also confirm is this correct? I believe the employer letter is necessary only when there is longer absences outside the country for business trips and long leave of absence.
Please help me answer these questions. Thank you in advance.
