Letter for Absences from the UK

Post by thestas » Mon Oct 17, 2016 10:40 am

Hi All,

Apologies if this questions has been asked before but I cannot seem to get any clarity on this. I am applying for ILR in person in a week’s time and I am confused about “6.3 What evidence has been provided to support the reasons for all absences from the UK?”

I have worked for three employers during the past 5 years, I have only travelled for business for one of them. All other travel has been personal and part of my annual leave and I was employed during the entire time of my travels.

In total I have spent 262 days outside the UK in 5 years, the maximum for any one year was 72 days, most of which was for work. For all the business related absences (51 days in total) I have a letter for, do I need to provide anything else?

Thanks in advance,
Stas
