Naturalisation Qualification

Post by mianzaidzubair » Mon Oct 17, 2016 2:31 pm

Hi Members,

I have just been granted my ILR. I applied at Croydon PEO on 18th June. My application was held up due to additional checks by the HO and was then refused. I applied for an Admin Review which was then successful. The original application date was 18th June and ILR was granted on 14th October.

I understand that I can apply for Naturalisation 12 months after the ILR. Could you please let me know if the 12 months will count from 18th June or 14th October? I had a Tier 1 G visa before that expired on 19th June.

Many thanks for your input.

12 months from the date ILR was granted.

Please don't send me PMs asking for immigration advice on posts that are on the open forum. If I haven't responded there, it's because I don't have the answer. I'm a moderator, not a legal professional.
