Applying for Italian citizenship from the UK if Brazilian

My Partner is Brazilian with both parents Italian.
They hope to move to the UK soon, can they apply for Italian citizenship in the UK or do they have to do it in Brazil.. Thank you?

Better idea is to get it sorted before they travel... A visitor visa (which is what it would be without proof of Italian citizenship) will not allow them to seek employment, set up bank accounts, rent a house/ flat etc...

Don't forget that the UK have voted to leave the EU and EEA citizens need 6 years of EU law, which is unlikely with Brexit. They would have to wait to see if they are offered anything.
