Desperate help needed with Subsisting relationship

Post by Zee732 » Thu Oct 20, 2016 10:32 pm

We were married last year in sep 2015 in Pakistan, It was an arranged marriage with our consents, I only stayed there for a week and have not visited her since.
I have now prepared all the documents, however, solicitor says that I do not have enough relationship evidence, my wife is not competent computer user and birthdays and anniversaries ar not celebrated in her family .
Therefore I only have last one year's screen shots from WhatsApp and IMO, along with usual marriage certificates and photos of the wedding and after the wedding.and chat log in a form of a spread sheet .
I will be very grateful to you if you please help me that what else can I provide and how else can I prove ? must I visit her again before applying etc ?
any input will be highly appreciated
Thank you

I got refused under same scenerio. They dont recognise your whatsapp and skype data. Try your luck. I would say start calling her from your mobile on daily basis and show phone records. Also go for a small trip to your wife before applying on her bday or anything

+1 Good advice.

If you haven't visited your wife since the wedding more than a year ago and have little proof of contact between you, the solicitor is right that the spouse visa is likely to be refused.
