My wife got citizenship at the ceremony last month and is now applying for a passport.
For the passport they say that documents must be translated and certified by an Interpreter in the Irish state.
This is complicated for us coming from Northern Ireland as in the UK translators are not regulated and are not officially registered.
It doesn't look like they will accept our current translations as they were done outside of Ireland.
Has anyone had problems with translations being rejected for any reason? There seem to be lots of options according to google but the http://translatorsassociation.ie/ site doesn't seem to have anyone for us.
Thanks
