dear forum members,
thanks for this wealth of information here, it has benefitted many people like me.
this is my first post, please help me with your experience and knowledge.
I am British Citizen my wife is on a dependent visa.
We applied visa for my son (he was born outside the EU a week before I naturalized) which was refused by giving following reasons
a: "Bank statement not original and not authorized by bank" (we had given scan copy of statement printed at bank but not accompanied with bank letterhead)
b: "recent payslip missing" (I had given one year full payslips, past two year P60 and HMRC self assessment summary, also highlighted recent salary credit for which payslip was missing. I was above the required financial threshold from past 7 years of my employment)
c: "Employer letter missing, confirming my employment"(this is my mistake)
The ECO writes he also considered whether there are any exceptional circumstance consistent with respect to family life as per human rights, he says he do not think so.
they took nearly 3 months to say this during this time I lost my full time job (2 months ago) and currently just started self-employment with a limited company (yet to earn)
What are my chances for appeal(if there are any) ?
Thank you
will be grateful for your replies
