TI Entrepreneur initial Venture Capital fund

Post by mybusiness2016 » Mon Oct 24, 2016 12:15 pm

Hi,

I applied T1 Entrepreneur VISA (50K) through a venture capital company fund. Once I obtain the VISA, Can I return the fund to VC immediately then put director's loan in the business?

I didn't have 200K myself so i had to apply with VC fund. 50K isn't a problem for me, so i do want to use my own money to avoid interest charged by VC.

is this approach doable? do i need pay attention on anything to prevent troubles during extension?

Many thanks

No you cannot. You are allowed to invest 50K only under strict conditions, one of which is if you raise such money from regulated VCS. You are NOT allowed to use your own money unless you are switching from Tier 1 General or PSW under certain conditions.
Replacing VCs investment with your own money is obviously to go around those restrictions and effectively game the immigration system which could potentially be seen as deception by HO.
