Naric English Requirement: Transcript vs Diploma

Hi- wondering if anybody else has had the same experience with Naric. They told us the could only give us a qualified certificate because we no longer have the original diploma despite having an Official Transcript (which is all that matters in the USA) saying "Degree Awarded: Masters in Science" from a top American University.

Anybody else submit a qualified certificate with their BC application?

We have a colleague from the same university who last year was able to submit a transcript from the same degree along with a print out from the Home Office's points page which is no longer online.
