Financial requirement

Post by rana80 » Wed Oct 26, 2016 6:43 pm

I need some advice regarding section 7.3 financial requirement. I have to fill in current annual salary. I have had a pay rise recently 3 months back. Do i need to mention what is my current annual salary prior to the date of application or what my gross salary for 12 moths was.

There is a question regarding if i have been earning the same amount - 6 months continuously prior to the application. Do i have to say No , since mine increased 3 months back.

Finally it asks for the sponsors total combined income from salaried employment - Do i put in the 12 months gross annual pay what i received or my revised annual pay which i have been receiving for 3 months

If you're on a salaried employment, then, you do need to be earning £1550 per month. If it's above that, perfect, but, if it's below that, then that's the amount HO will use to calculate your gross earnings.

So, it depends on what your monthly salary (assuming you get paid monthly) was prior the increase. If prior to increase, it was below £1550, then you need to look at Category B, which is 12 months.
