Thanks CR001.

What are the rule applicable for my child. He born on 10-May-2013 in my home country and came to uk only on 10-Oct-2013.

He was out of UK for a holiday '04-Nov-15 04-Mar-16 121 days'.

Thanks Vinny.

This means for my spouse application the continuous period is only 2 years for getting ILR since she came in Nov'2010 for first time & continuing in same visa with extensions.

As requested in my previous post, for my spouse application I hope the eligibility creteria is 2 years and I need to submit cohabitation proofs for only 2 years. Can you please confirm on this.

Hello Experts,
I can’t see my last post, I think it’s been deleted.
I have recently got ILR and now planning to apply for my wife. I believe SET (M) is the right form for her.
I am having trouble with the section with finances. I am earning enough to meet the earning threshold. But I don’t want to provide my wife’s bank statements. She is working but its my fault that i didn’t pay too much attention to put her bank account in order. Occasionally her sister sends money which she put into her savings account.
I need to provide the proof who is putting money into her account and where this money is coming from.

Can experts advise me the best course of action here.
I would really appreciate any help.
thanks

NOT deleted, but moved to its own topic and you even got a response and would have received a notification of that. It is rude and unfair to the original poster of this topic to hijack and tag your question on thas nothing to do with your question. Suggest familiarise yourself with the forum rules if you are unsure of anything.

I really apologise and sorry I couldn't find that forum and I thought this forum is for spouse alone and dependant as well.
Thanks for moving to the right forum and I didn't get any notification.
Thanks again.

Experts,

I am completing the Set (O) Application form and have one query.

in Section 7.13, they ask to mention if the applicant has more then 6 months gap outside UK. In my application case, the applicant was out of UK for more then 6 months, but that time will be split into two different ILR continuous period year calc. More over she requires only 2 years.
My question is, should I enter the dates for which the applicant was outside for more then 6 months or not.

Thanks.

You MUST complete the form honestly and fill in the details they ask for.

Yes CR001, I will do..

My confusion is that in section 7.13, the question is based on 5 years ccontinous ILR calc period or any gap. Please provide your view.

And my spouse requires only 2 years continous period to qualify for ILR.

Why is there an issue to complete the details as asked in the form? PBS dependents have no absence limits.

Thanks All.

I have applied for my spouse & child and they have been granted ILR on the same day. Received their BRP as well and (of-course planned their long pending holiday to home country also next week). :)

One small thing, My Spouse (& mine also) ILR has expiry date as 31/12/2024, however my child's is having expiry date as 03/05/2022. I hope this should be fine.

And next milestone would be applying my naturalisation/citizenship.

Thanks again for all your support.

Biometric information: Introduction wrote:A BRP is valid for the duration of the person’s limited leave, or for up to a maximum of 10 years. However, in the case of a child or young person up to 16 years old, the maximum duration of the permit is 5 years only, after which the child or young person must apply for a replacement permit if they still have existing permission to stay in the UK. For example, a child of 14, issued with a BRP of the maximum length, will when they reach 16 have held the BRP for 2 years. They have a further 3 years left before having to apply for a replacement BRP.

Thanks CR001 & Vinny,

As per my understanding, the ILR - BRP can be renewed "N" number of times if anyone preferred to continue in ILR and not going for naturalisation/citizenship. Am I correct.
