Two months no confirmation need advice please im stressed

Hi,

I'm getting really worried. I applied for my naturalisation on the 31st of August through a checking service, the money was taken out on the 10th of september from my bank but I have yet still to hear from the home office. I was told that I should recieve a letter within 6 weeks max asking for me to take my biometric details. I have no sort of reference number to refer to if I get through to someone. I have rang the help line on the government website and one handler told me it can take up to 10 weeks after payment, another told me that the fact a payment has been taken is confirmation that my application is with a case worker but tbh I dont feel confident with that response.

I have lived in the UK since 2003, I have gone to primary and secondary school, college as well as university here. I have worked since I was 16 and have been paying my taxes ever since I was legally meant to. I have never been in trouble with the law (I work with children so can so my dbs is clean) so I thought my application would be straight forward. Its really starting to take a toll on me as I struggled to raise the money and it took me so many months to find time to get my references among other complications I wanted to relax after FINALLY sending it off but I really cant.

The thing is that I also need to change my address but as I have no information on my application status or any type of reference number and one handler referred me to the wrong form. She said I should have a reference on my bank statement but I dont. The check in service sent me texts not e-mails so have nothing from them either.

Please if anyone has any advice on what I can do next it will be gladly welcomed. PLEASE! I really need help

Hi,i really understand your anguish but be very patient.True,the fact they have taken money implies they are dealing with it.
There is nothing you can do other than to wait,i have been in a simlar situation,I almost went mad,but it will come out.Just try to put your mind off it and make yourself busy in that way time will fly.Don't forget they give you six months to complete yr application.Good luck!
