I wanted my uncle and aunt living in India to visit my family here in the UK for a period of 4 weeks in September 2016. I sent a sponsorship declaration form the UK counter signed by a JP and indicating my British Citizenship (for over 50 years), ownership of my house and three healthy bank statements, my annual salary and agreeing to sponsor the whole trip. My uncle submitted his land and house papers (all notarised)and his financial savings in India (all original documents). Their visitor visa were refused on the grounds that he could not show any proof of relationship with me and that my uncle has shown no documents from me. All the documents were submitted at the VFS office in Mumbai (and sealed in an envelope in my uncles presence) in Mumbai and importantly returned back to my uncle with the refusal letter.
It appears that the officer assessing the visa application did not see or access any of the supporting documents he submitted.
My question is:
what can I do now?
I do not want to re-apply as there is no new information to supply.
I clearly feel there has been mal-administration somewhere between the VFS office and the British High Commission.
