Tier 2 CoS allocated more than 6 years - Help required

Hi,
Initial Tier 2 issued on January 2013 from old company.
Current employer assigned new COS:
Valid from December 2016, valid till November 2019 which is more than 6 years. Do I need to request employer to raise new COS because of COS assigned more than 6 years if I count from Jan 2013? Please advise.

Thats fine.. u dont need to do anything. pay for less than 3 years tier 2, with 600 IHS.
they will automatically limit your end date of visa to total 6 years and return your excess IHS

1. In application form, do I have to opt yes or no for this question.
''Do you receive any allowances as part of your employment package? For an allowance such as accommodation or travel, give a short description''
Employer sponsoring Maintenance for myself and spouse. This is mentioned in COS.

2. I am making joint application for myself and spouse. While printing application form at the end it's clearly mentioned ''I don't need to send proof for English and maintenance requirement''. Is this message will apply to my spouse as well? She is currently under Tier 2 dependant visa.
