Naturalisation Certificate with NO maiden name

Post by Jambe » Sun Oct 30, 2016 11:11 am

Hello seniors
Good Morning
Actually me and my wife just received our Naturalisation Certificate. But I just noticed that in my wife's certificate it's only one name (married name) as per her current passport but no maiden name (name at birth). We already applied for passport via JCAP scheme. One of my friend said it should be 2 name on my wife's certificate married name and maiden name..!

So,please please advice.. what should I do now..!? Do I have to send it back to get include maiden name or no need..!!

Please please advice..!!

Thanks

This is reported quite often.

Happened in my wife's case too. She was granted passport despite lack of maiden name on naturalisation certificate.

As long as certificate/naturalised name matches name in current passport all should be well.
