Hello everyone,
I have recently (finally!) decided to apply for a PR for myself in order to apply for naturalisation in the future and have two questions in regards to the application. I would appreciate if someone could help me with them.
First of all this is my timeline since arriving in the UK:
-2009 Moved to the UK aged 14
-2009 Went to secondary school
-2011 Left secondary school and started college
-2013 Done my HNC at college and moved up to University
-2014 During summer between Year 2 and 3 at Uni I had a seasonal job May-October
-2015 In April I came back to the same place for seasonal job, in May 2015 I found a different full time job which is my current job, also in May 2015 I have completed my exams which led to graduation in November.
My mother has been living here since 2007 and has RC since 2011. She is working for the same company since 2007. I have been staying with my mum for all those years I have been in the UK.
So, while having a go at completing the application I have noted two questions:
-Should I apply with my mum as a sponsor? and (probably more important)
- I came across the question 9.11 which is in regards the CSI (I will be 100% honest, its the first time I heard about this CIS thing!). I have never had one when at school/college/uni and I have the EHIC card issued in the UK. Does it mean that basically I cant apply for PR and my eligibility years start counting from when I graduated from uni (either end of exams or the actual graduation few months later?) Would the fact my mum was/is working and that I was/am staying with her make a difference? (I seen questions regarding CSI on internet but have not seen one with similar circumstances hence why Im posting this question in here )
It would be a shame if I have to wait another 4 years for something I thought I could apply for now but if that is the case guess I only have myself to blame for not knowing about the CSI existence.
Would appreciate any help and suggestions.
Thank you,
Piotr
