5 Months Short from 10 Years

Post by arefin1988 » Mon Nov 14, 2016 3:10 am

Hello Everyone,
I need your valuable advise. Here is my details,

Entry in UK : 25th September 2007 ( tier 4)
Then i was on PSW and tier 4 again.
Current visa Expires: 30th March 2007 ( Tier 4)

I am around 5 months short to be qualified to apply for ILR. Can anyone please tell me how can I buy some more time.

My wife is in UK since March 2016 , we have no Kids. On what basis my wife have to apply for new visa. I wont be able to show 18,600 earing as I am allowed only 20 hours per week.

Looking forward to your valuable feedback.

How does one stay a student for so long? Thought they had an upper years cap on time spent studying?

I came 2007 ( no cap that time) also I did HND which did not count when I extend next 2 times on tier 4.

Hi guys
I didn't have that long of a gap but was falling around 2 weeks short. After reading several posts of people with our situation, I decided to apply for FLR first and then vary it to ilr once qualifying period was reached. I'd recommend you guys to go through this http://www.immigrationboards.com/indefi ... 11672.html . Here PSW2009, Zidane have covered the process and their journey in detail. Also look for Singh21 post as he had a longer gap than others and applied for FLR twice before sucessfully getting his ILR months later.

Hope this helps and good luck :)

UKVI is clamping down on vexatious and frivolous applications these days.

And getting too creative can backfire in other ways:
