Can business bank account be used as proof of funds?

Visa application: Extension of Tier 2 dependant visa

My husband submitted his application requirements July 2016. They contacted us numerous times and the last letter asked for another set of bank statements showing that he held funds of £630 for the past 90 days.

Not anticipating that this would happen, his personal account balance has fallen below this. His business account though has more than this consistently. Can we use his business account instead as proof of funds?

A business is a separate legal body so I doubt it.
