Indefinite leave to remain after discretionary

Post by Tweety2912 » Fri Nov 18, 2016 12:09 am

I just wondered how long I have to wait till I get a response about my application I made in June. I applied for indefinite leave to remain after being on descretionary visa for 9years. I had an email on the 3rd of October saying they are still looking at my application as another Email on the 3rd of Nobember stating the same thing. I have had to stop school and work Cse I have no ID and last wen I asked about the progress they said it was still under their time scale. Is anyone been in this situation or in this situation?? How long till I get a response.

Hi how come you were rejected? Is it because you're on DLR? My family and I are also on DLR

Hello mck2010

The email i received from HO Premium Upgrade Team is below. I dont know why they rejected my case, i thought was clearly straight forward.

Dear Sir/Madam

Thank you for your request for a premium upgrade to your application. Unfortunately your application is not eligible for an upgrade and will therefore continue to be processed in the postal route. If you require any further information then please contact the department currently dealing with your application. We are unable to respond to general enquiries or provide an update on the progress of your application.

Kind Regards
Premium Upgrade Team

Does any one know what this means? Loosing my head, my 3yrs DL extension only took 8 weeks in total from application post to receiving bio card in june 2013. I JUST DON'T GET IT

Hi jmorr what documents did you submit? I'm also due for ILR after 6 years dlr. I wanted to do the premium service but confused whybyours was rejected. Does that mean that dlr is not eligible for premium? Thanks
