rcos start date and actual start date

Post by Dasistfact » Fri Nov 18, 2016 2:49 am

Dear members,

Could you please help me with the following issue. Intended start date in my rcos is July, 1, while I only got my visa on that date and managed to enter the UK on July, 5 and started work on July, 7. Not sure if my employer informed UKVI(not sure if he had to) about that because the actual start date within a week or 2 wasn't that important for him.

Will I have any problems with that at the time of application for extension or ILR?

Thanks iworker. Have you also faced that situation?
So it means that intended start date is just indicative and could be ignored?
I read in guidance that employer must inform Home Office if an employee missed his/her day at work for whatever reason. That's why I'm a bit confused.
