Section 48 - Decision to investigate sham marriage

Post by bathanza » Sat Nov 19, 2016 1:36 pm

Hello

Have recieved a section 48 and would like to know other members experience in this matter.

Currently have a pending case at the home office (flr fp partner route)

Has anyone gone through the interview process?

What advice can be offered.

Can prove to the nth degree that relationship is genuine. Just worried about awkward questions.

Was it for flr fp or for marriage? What was his experience like and outcome?

Just for your understanding check this link so you know what a sham marriage is. https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Sham_marriage

It looks like there are no members posting their experiences during this period of HO 70 day extension so I'll keep it updated to help others.

I have reviewed the latest stats published by HO and a small % is actually investigated. So will sit tight on this one.

Thanks for this info. My question is related to registration but good to know about your flr fp experience. Wish you best of luck
