EU FAMILY SPONSOR STATUS

Post by MMCJB » Sun Nov 20, 2016 9:40 am

I am Irish and have permanent residency cert (6 years in UK) .My partner non EU also have EU family permanent residency card.If i apply for BC must my partner apply for Permanent residency due to me being British or can partner continue to keep EU family card ? Partner can only apply for BC after 10 years due to overstay in the past.If partner needs to change from EU family to PR must application be made prior to me applying for BC ?

If your family member has already acquired PR they can remain as they are.

Thanks for information. No need to change from EU family 10 year permanent residency ?
My new status as British will not effect my partner at all then ?
