Graduate level business

Post by Roofi » Mon Nov 21, 2016 4:58 pm

Dear forum members & guru zimba,

I am a new member & this is my first post.

My tier 1 extension is approaching fast, I want to ask few questions,

1. I was watching YouTube video regarding tier 1 entrepreneur extension (50k route) posted by one of the immigration law firms. According to this video, entrepreneurs are allowed to switch from graduate level business to non-graduate level business & investment done in non-graduate business is accepted by UKIV. Is it true? Could not find this information in policy guideline.

2. I have two businesses. One is graduate level & the other one is non-graduate. I have done more than 50k investment in graduate level business. Should I show both businesses or only one?

3. Can we show employees of non-graduate business?

1: Yes they are correct
2: You can show both if you are claiming points for both companies.
3: Yes you can.

This is relevant when applying to switch from Tier 1G or PSW routes to Tier 1E.
See page 38 of the current guide regarding existing business activity

I do not understand how that is relevant to your extension as this requirement applies to initial applicants as far as I see in the rules and only to the applicant's occupation level.
